Moonchild Sanelly – Sweet & Savage – A COLORS SHOW
South African singer and performer Moonchild Sanelly has introduced a vibrant new song titled “Sweet & Savage – A COLORS SHOW.”
Known for her bold and unique style, Moonchild Sanelly continues to push boundaries with this latest release.
“Sweet & Savage” follows her recent tracks “Scrambled Eggs” and the acclaimed collaboration “Big Man” with Self Esteem. In discussing “Sweet & Savage,” Moonchild Sanelly shared insights into her lyrics and personal experiences. She explained how the song reflects her bisexuality and journey of self-discovery. Originally written for another song, the lyrics were revamped to capture her newfound experiences and confidence.
In her words, Moonchild Sanelly explains, “I like girls, I nibble on boys now and then… I’m just bisexual. This lyric was originally in my song ‘Boys and Girls‘ but it went, ‘I like boys, I nibble on girls now and then.’ That was before I’d ever dated a girl. I’d just played around. Now that I have dated a girl, I’ve asked myself, ‘was I really playing?’ I switched the lyric around for ‘Sweet and Savage‘ because now I have the experience of being with girls. I thought it was a great hook, so I couldn’t waste it. I needed to relive, and to live with more experience. I’m dating a boy right now, so I’m not going to nibble on any girl, but it’s about the fact that I can. I’m sweet, I’m nice, I’m great. This shit is not that deep. I’m talking about my love life.”
This track not only showcases her musical talent but also her fearless approach to exploring and expressing her identity.
