Toby Grey teams up with two of Nigeria's best producers – DJ Coublon and Tyemmy to put together her first body of work ‘Love in Lagos'. The EP houses 6 tracks which had the talented singer pour out her heart in sweet melodies. On the EP “Love In Lagos”, one of Africa's best songwriter – Klem made a huge contribution and the amazing audio mixing engineer “Swaps” gave his treat to the sound.

The EP “Love in Lagos” portrays a variation of love songs which could be considered as atypical i.e. not the regular ‘boy meets girl' story line. Also, one of the songs is dedicated to the ever vibrant and dynamic ‘Lagos State' and transcends to the core aesthetics of the songs in terms of vibrancy, fun and creativity. It presents a twist of traditional, alternative, trap, folklore, pop and comic vibes all produced, written and recorded in Lagos state, Nigeria.

Toby Grey is more than your average Afrocentric singer with a lovely voice, she is quite possibly one of the most diverse and energetic artistes in Nigeria today. A French graduate and an all-round intellectual, she stands out with her unique style of music just like her name GREY – symbolising a balance between two extremes (home and abroad) and cuts across boarders allowing her to be diverse. This quality is what she portrays in her EP as she shows what it truly means to be diverse with a blend of interesting and captivating aesthetics.
