The song is a tribute to one of his musical inspirations, Korede Bello, who is also a Nigerian singer and songwriter best known for his hit single “Godwin”. Rord Kelly expresses his admiration and respect for Korede Bello, who he considers as a mentor and a role model. He also praises Korede Bello's unique style of music, which he likes to call “Obodo Edeluwo”, meaning “the world is beautiful” in Igbo language. He exited the Mavin record label in 2021, and released a new single “Available” under Caspertainment Agency in October, 2022. He often creates music that focuses on love, relationships, and positive vibes. His songs are characterized by catchy melodies and relatable lyrics, making his music popular among a wide audience.

Korede Bello, whose real name is Korede Bello, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter currently signed to ONErpm. He was born on 29 February 1996 in Lagos State, where he completed his primary and secondary school education. He started music professionally by recording songs in the studio while in secondary school, and released his first single “Forever”. He signed a record deal with Mavin Records in 2014, headed by music producer Don Jazzy. He is best known for his hit single “Godwin”, a semi-gospel and pop song which became a national anthem and topped many music charts across Nigeria. He released his debut album titled “Belloved” in 2017, which featured songs like “Do Like That”, “Butterfly”, “Let Him Go” and “My People”. He also collaborated with other artists, such as Tiwa Savage, Reekado Banks, Di'Ja, Dr SID, Don Jazzy and Kelly Rowland. He left Mavin Records in 2021, and released a new song titled “Jejely” featuring Mr Eazi in April, 2023. He is also a humanitarian and an ambassador for the Nigerian Police Force.
